The 31st Regional Aquatic Workshop, will be held in Boston from May 8 – 12, 2017, and promises to be another signature meeting of great presentations and wonderful networking opportunities.
We are calling upon presenters to submit abstracts for 20-minute oral presentations (15 minutes presenting plus 5 minutes of questions).

The 31st Regional Aquatic Workshop
Early in the 21st Century aquariums face an uncertain future. Emerging technologies, an increased information bandwidth, and a society increasingly connected, present a range of new challenges and new opportunities. For the 31st RAW we are asking authors to submit contributions that inform how aquariums will operate further into 21st Century.
Areas of focus during the meeting will include: Animal ethics, Sustainable collections, Research, Conservation, Energy efficiency, Larval culture, Life support systems, Water Quality, and Aquarium technology. All submissions will be considered, but submissions are encouraged in these domains.
All verbal presentations will be video recorded by Animal Professionals and will be available on their website http://animalprofessional.com/.
Submissions not accepted for oral presentation may be directed toward the poster session. If you prefer to present your information in the form of a poster please indicate this preference when submitting your abstract.

Instructions for Presenters
Please include the following in your submission:
- Title: Presentation title should be short and succinct, but clearly represent the theme of the presentation.
- Authors: Include the full names and affiliations of all authors; the full mailing address, email address, and telephone number of all authors.
- Abstract text: Abstracts should be informative, stating the purpose of the work and summarize the significant findings. They should include an introduction, convey the main point, and outline results and conclusions. Contributions should be scientifically robust. Abstracts should not contain statements like “this will be discussed;” instead, include information to make the abstract informative. Abstracts must not exceed 150 words.
Submission: Abstracts must be submitted by January 31, 2017 via email to RAWAbstracts@neaq.org.
Accepted presenters: All accepted authors must be registered and have registration fees paid in full by March 31, 2017 in order to make their presentation.
