The Texas State Aquarium Associate Veterinarian will plan and participate in the preventive veterinary care program including wellness plan, annual physicals, vaccinations, parasite monitoring and general health and well-being. They will be responsible for performing physical examinations, surgeries, and administering anesthesia as well as assisting curators with protocols involving animal diets, quarantine, and preventive medicine.
A Doctoral degree or equivalent is required for consideration or more than 10 years related experience. An equivalent combination of education or experience may also meet the required qualifications.
